Abigail Robinson is the founder of Frameworks International Consulting. She has twenty years of experience in international security affairs, with a focus on responsive, accountable governance as a means of conflict prevention. Most recently, she has worked with partners in the Balkans, East Africa and the Sahel on projects to improve security sector governance. She has also supported implementation of security and local governance provisions of peace agreements; negotiated and overseen the implementation of arms control and disarmament treaties; and served as a U.S. Army officer, which included deployment to Kosovo as part of NATO peacekeeping forces.
Abigail has extensive experience advising senior representatives of national governments and multilateral organizations on pragmatic, cost effective solutions to security and governance challenges. She is a skilled facilitator and has a proven record of success in multilateral and bilateral negotiations; planning and managing complex, multi-year and multi-million dollar projects; and developing and sustaining international partnerships. Her work is founded on integrity, commitment, and respect for the unique history, vision and goals of her clients.
